The way content is distributed on Tumblr is different than most networks. Users are focused on discovering content and re-sharing (reblogging) posts that entertain, inform, and resonate with them.
Reblogging has the effect of creating a long shelf life for brand content on Tumblr; brands are seeing their posts get reblogged long after they were initially created.
To give you an idea of how some of the most successful brands are using Tumblr, we analyzed the top 5 brands with the most reblogs to understand how active they are, what tactics their using, and when their content gets reblogged.
