We’re looking for a Market Development Representative to join the Simply Measured team. The ideal candidate will possess high energy, an aggressive sales attitude and will excel in a fast-paced sales environment. As a member of this team you will use your business development experience, sales skills, resourcefulness, and enthusiasm to:

1. Drive incremental sales productivity and new enterprise business through effective and efficient prospecting and lead qualification.

2. Schedule qualified appointments between prospects and Simply Measured Account Executives.



  • Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of social media analytics – and clearly articulate capabilities and advantages to prospective customers.
  • Make 30 – 40 calls per day to build and manage Enterprise pipeline.
  • Prospect into pre-determined organizations via outbound calling, e-mail, social media platforms, and networking.
  • Articulate the Company’s value proposition to decision-makers across multiple verticals to assess buying interest.
  • Provide baseline research within targeted accounts to identify key contacts and critical company information/news.
  • Provide superior customer service.
  • Contribute to every component of the critical functions associated with fulfilling the sales cycle (forecasting, reporting, customer database maintenance and data entry, correspondence, and communications).
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Management by giving feedback and sharing ideas.
  • Provide weekly activity reports to management.


  • 1 – 2 years cold calling experience
  • Knowledge of the social media space and it’s key players
  • Collaborative, with the ability to work in a team-environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as presentation skills
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively call on marketing executives, community and social media managers as well as agencies.
  • Bachelors Degree (preferably in Business, Marketing, or Computer Sciences)
