[Webinar] Beyond Reach: The Critical Facebook Metrics You Should Measure

Our webinar Beyond Reach: The Critical Facebook Metrics You Should Measure will air live on Wednesday, April 30th, and we couldn’t be more excited. If you’re a Social Media Manager, this is a great chance to stop batting around the term “Organic Reach Crisis” and start tracking the metrics that allow you to fully understand your Page’s organic and paid performance.

What’ll our ace-in-the-hole speakers Ron Schott and Sam Melancon be discussing?

  • How to measure Paid vs. Organic Reach
  • Tips for boosting your brand’s Organic Reach
  • The way your ad spend impacts what you grow organically
  • Which metrics should be your BFF’s

Well, here at Simply Measured, we like to keep things as personal as possible, so we thought we’d give you a little early intro to the experts who will safely guide you through the confusion that Facebook’s new ad structure has created.

Ron Schott
Director of Professional Services

Hey Ron! What’s your background?

I’ve worked in marketing and PR since graduating from Washington State University in 2005. Starting at my first job, I focused on social media and the role it could play in marketing. From there, I spent five years at Spring Creek Group, seeing the social media agency through its growth and eventually opened its London office after the company was bought by IPG Mediabrands.

In those rare moments when you’re not helping Simply Measured win, what’re you up to?

I’m a rabid WSU Cougar football fan and spend my weekends in Ballard with my wife and a little Lhasa Apso name Jasper. [Editor’s note: Awwww!]

Most-used apps: Instagram and Redfin.

What gets you pumped?

I’ve seen, first hand, some of the reports out there that try to combine organic and content-driven activity with paid media – and they’re all just lacking. Our new Facebook Insights with Ads report paves the way for truly integrated reporting. I think it’ll create some great discussions for brands and agencies alike.

So why should I tune in?

Reporting is the constant in great marketing campaigns and programs. If you can’t accurately show how your work has created goodness for your brand or client, you’re pretty much missing the point. I think people checking out this webinar will learn how they can arm themselves with actual data to show the success and opportunities in their organic and paid social.

Sam Melancon
Analyst & Report Designer

Hiya Sam! Where do you come from?

I came to work at Simply Measured after years of being a customer at a large social agency. I have a 9 year background in Marketing Analytics, with a focus on Social.

In those rare moments when you’re not helping Simply Measured win, what’re you up to?

I am a huge music fan. When I am not designing and building reports for SM, I can be found running my record label or promoting shows around Seattle.

Most-used apps: Google Music, Pocket Casts, and

What gets you pumped?

The report I helped build. I have been working in the field (see above) for awhile. Before designing our Facebook Insights with Ads report, I was always desperate to understand how Paid Content affected overall page health.  It used to be so hard to get that data together in one place.  Now, after a lot of troubleshooting, we are providing a report that is the truest vision of everything that is happening on your Facebook Page. Turns out this was just in time, as Paid Content has become a very essential part of anybody’s overall Facebook strategy.

So why should I tune in?

Attending this webinar is an all-access pass to Ron with his years of marketing expertise, and  the collective knowledge of our entire team of engineers that made such an awesome report — without having to leave your desk. What’s not to love?
