Our Next Chapter: Simply Measured Acquired by Sprout Social

Today, I’m extremely proud to announce that Simply Measured has been acquired by Sprout Social. As Sprout’s CEO and Co-founder, I’ve long admired Simply Measured and their approach to technology and innovation, so we are excited to welcome their passionate, talented team members and unique tools to Sprout.

For those of you who are unfamiliar, Sprout was founded in 2010, and in the past seven years, we’ve built world-class social media management, analytics and advocacy solutions for more than 20,000 leading agencies and brands around the world. In fact, many of you, as Simply Measured customers, are already using Sprout to manage your social media programs today.

Simply Measured gives social teams better intelligence to reach the right people; it gives content marketers insight to create more relevant materials; and it gives digital agencies opportunities to win new business and foster client loyalty. Bringing that power under the Sprout umbrella means there are exciting times ahead for our company and, more importantly, our customers. Our mission is to further help social marketers improve their programs and generate actionable insights from their social data.

While we work to bring the products closer together, expanding on Sprout’s world-class suite of engagement, publishing, listening, and analytics tools, all Simply Measured customers will continue to have access to their existing products and exceptional service.

On a more personal note, I’ve been immensely impressed with the Simply Measured team, their focus, and their dedication to their customers. Similarly, at Sprout we always put our customers first and strive to make decisions, build technology, and manage relationships with the best interest of our customers in mind. As a unified company, we will continue to honor that commitment, and I welcome conversations and candid feedback about how we can best impact and improve businesses around the world.

Simply Measured’s Seattle office will serve as a West coast hub alongside Sprout’s San Francisco outpost and global headquarters in Chicago.
