5 Things You Need to Do at SXSW 2016
Well, the time has come again to pack our bags and head down to Austin, Texas, for SXSW Interactive, the biggest tech event of the year. There will be parties, networking, and the latest and greatest in cutting-edge technologies and digital creativity. I’m exhausted (and so excited) just thinking about it.
If you’re heading down, it’s important to know what you’re getting yourself into, and how to be prepared. Here are a few tips to help get you through the week in one piece and back to work with tons of useful learnings.
Prepare Your Schedule
There are hundreds of sessions at SXSW, so it’s best not to fly blind. You can head over to the SXSW website to pre-populate your schedule and export it to web or iCal (here’s mine!). I would recommend paying special attention to sessions from Haven Beauty + Edelman, Mashable, Facebook +The New York Times and A2G + devinsupertramp + Citibank.
Prepare Your Party Schedule
We all know that half of the reason you go to SXSW is for networking…and the best place to do that is at parties! SXSW is a big and bustling event with parties and happy hours around every corner. How do you keep track of what is where and when? Refer to The ULTIMATE Guide to SXSW Interactive 2016 Parties!
