The Simply Measured Team is excited to be a part of today’s launch of the Facebook® Marketing Partner Program. The program is an evolution from the previous Preferred Marketing Developer (PMD) program and includes a few important updates for both partners and marketers.
As explained by Facebook, the goal of this evolution is to structure the program in a way that gives Facebook marketers more clarity and more choices to find a partner that can help make an impact on their business. We’re excited to see where the new program will take partners and marketers in the future!
Most changes are related to the structure and grouping of Marketing Partners:
Badged Partners are required to demonstrate excellence in at least one of the 9 categories Facebook has defined:
- Ad Technology
- Audience Data Providers
- Audience Onboarding
- Community Management
- Content Marketing
- Facebook Exchange (FBX)
- Media Buying
- Small Business Solutions
Marketing Partners will also be categorized by the global regions in which they have a physical presence.
Finally, partners that specialize in Ad Technology or Media Buying will also be able to highlight their unique strength in certain verticals. These verticals align with the structure of Facebook’s client teams.
